Horizontal Railing on a Fieldstone Porch
Project Overview

Analysis
The porch base is fieldstone with granite caps, so posts were anchored into the cap with plates sized to bear fully on the stone, and the rail was kept horizontal for a modern contrast.

Black powder-coated aluminum posts and rails with flat horizontal bar infill and cast post caps, base plates, and anchors into the granite cap.
