Bronze Railing at a Timber Pavilion
Project Overview
Dark bronze railing installed around the raised stone base of a timber-frame outdoor pavilion with a bluestone patio and outdoor kitchen.
Analysis
The pavilion structure is heavy timber on a stone plinth, so a bronze rail was chosen to sit between the wood tones and the stone rather than contrast with them.
Process
Measure the pavilion, fabrication, custom colour powder coat, install, and final detailing.
Outcome
A warm-toned guard that ties the timber structure and stone base together at the outdoor room.

Bronze powder-coated aluminum posts and rails with vertical picket infill, cast base plates, and anchors into the stone base.
