Analysis
The porch columns and roof already frame the space, so a thin horizontal rod guard was chosen to keep the yard view open from the seating area.
Process
Coordination with the framing and roofing trades, fabrication, install, then final alignment after the deck boards were down.
Outcome
An open guard that preserves the covered porch sightlines from inside the house and from the yard.
